Outstanding Youth Achievement Award

The Brownells/NRA Outstanding Achievement Youth Award is given to young shooting sports enthusiasts up to the age of 21 who complete a series of requirements. Each year, the NRA chooses National Outstanding Achivement Youth Award winners to recieve up to $5000. NEED LINK

Youth Wildlife Art Contest

The George Montgomery/NRA Youth Wildlife Art Contest is open to all students in grades 1 through 12. Submit your depiction of a North American game animal for a chance at prizes up to $1,000. The deadline for entries is in early November.

Youth Education Summit

NRA's annual Youth Education Summit gives high school sophomores and juniors from across the United States an oportunity to come to Washington D.C. to learn about the Constitution and Bill of Rights, the federal government, and the importance of being active in civil affairs. Each year, participants in the Yout Education Summit compete for $30,000 in scholarships.

The Jeanee E. Bray Memorial Scholarship

The Jeanne E. Bray Memorial Scholarship program offers college scholarships to dependent children of any public law enforcement officer killed in the line of duty who was an NRA member at the time of death, and to dependent children of any current or retired law enforcement officers who are living and have current NRA membership. The deadline for submitting your applications is November 1. NEED LINK

Civil Rights Defense Fund Essay Contest

The NRA Civil Rights Defense Fund has an annual essay contest for students up to the 12th grade. The essay's topic relates to the importance of the Second Amendment, and the top prize is $1,000. The entry deadline is December 1.

Women's Wildlife Management/Conservation Scholarship

The Women's Policies Committee of the National Rifle Association established the Women's Wildlife Management/Conservation Scholarship as a renewable, one-year, $1,000 scholarship available to full-time college juniors or seniors with a minimum grade point average of 3.0, majoring in wildlife management/conservation.
